The Beggar of the Great Tang

Watching with my own eyes as the people of the entire city slowly starve to death, feeling helpless and defeated. How could anyone not grieve?

Such overwhelming sorrow leaves no tears. I endure it all only to avenge those wronged. Begging for food reminds me every moment that kindness and compassion are what raised me.

The old fragrance and faded powder leave only a faint warmth behind. This hatred will not be extinguished by Heaven's punishment, nor will I rest until I have taken my revenge. Only by cutting down my enemies can I put my conscience at ease. One death is not enough to bring peace. Let the heavens and earth be dyed as one, and that will be just right.
