My name is Lin Xiaotian. On the surface, I’m an unremarkable folklorist. In reality, I’m a Taoist exorcist who makes a living with the ancestral Secret Records of the Celestial Master.
It wasn’t until I received that mysterious phone call from an old house east of the city that I discovered the ghost stories people dismissed as fiction had all really happened.
To break the client’s curse that would kill them in three days, I ventured alone into a haunted house sealed around a resentful spirit of the Nine Hells. There, I unexpectedly discovered that it was all connected to the notes of my master, who had been missing for years…
Ghosts roam the graveyard at night, and strange shadows fill the old house. As the mystery unravels, I glimpse a supernatural world that overturns everything I know. I have to stay alive if I’m going to reveal the truth to the world.
