"Yin Yang Taoist"
Chapter 1: Ghost collision
Late at night, the highway is like an intestine winding inside the body of a dark beast, and Li Feng's car is speeding through it like a lonely beetle. He had just finished a long and tiring overtime work, and his eyelids seemed to weigh a thousand pounds, but his desire to return home supported him. Outside the car window, there is endless darkness without a trace of starlight. The familiar trees and fields have been blurred by the darkness, turning into the outline of monsters with teeth and claws.
Li Feng turned on the radio, trying to break the eerie silence. There was a noisy sound of electricity from the radio station, followed by a low music. The music seemed to have some kind of magic, making his heart beat faster involuntarily. He frowned and reached out to change the channel. Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a white figure in front of the car.
He subconsciously slammed on the brakes, making a sharp friction sound between the tires and the ground, like a ghost crying in the silent night. After the car stopped, Li Feng's heartbeat was beating like a drum, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead. He sat in the driver's seat, breathing heavily and staring nervously ahead. After a while, he finally recovered and opened the car door tremblingly.
The air outside was bitingly cold and he shivered. He walked carefully to the front of the car. The light of his flashlight shone on the road, revealing nothing but flying dust. He walked around the car, checked the tires and chassis, and everything was fine. "Am I too tired and hallucinating?" He murmured to himself, the fear in his heart lessening slightly.
