Transcending Against the Light

A beautiful planet glows with a deep blue light, adding a brilliant splash of color to the dark universe.

Civilization on the planet has advanced greatly. Technology has created cheap, eco-friendly renewable energy, bringing an end to war and ushering humanity into an age of peaceful development.

One day in 3035, the sky was torn open, and disaster descended. All that beauty and peace became a thing of the past.

Is this nature's survival of the fittest, or the extinction of humanity?

Where can humanity turn? Toward the desolation of annihilation, or transcendence against the light?
