The Road to Illusion

The love interest is devoted, while the protagonist isn't. It still counts as 1v1. HE ending; worlds vary. Told from the protagonist's perspective.

[Cold, aloof heartthrob VS gorgeous little heartbreaker]

Huansui, true to his name, is a phantom demon who has cultivated for a thousand years.

A demon.

He loves the romance comics of the human world and is fascinated by love.

Before

Huansui: “I just had a simple little romance. Is that really how you see me? That's pure prejudice!”

After

Huansui: “Please don't go. I know I was wrong.” (He clings to his sleeve, refusing to let go.) (Watching him slowly fade away, he falls into despair.)

“Why won't you believe me?”

By a twist of fate, the two meet again.

They form a contract, and just as Huansui thinks the other man will be easy to push around, reality gives him a harsh lesson.

In the end, he can only pray that the man's wish will be fulfilled soon.

While his emotions are sealed: Run, run! If I don't get away now, it'll be too late!

After they're unsealed: That was the me from a moment ago. Now, I only want to be with you. Could you put the chain away and hear me out? (He begs humbly.)
