I Passed Through Heaven's Gate Without Entering, Just Wanting to Wander the Jianghu

Thirty years ago.

Chen Zui, famed for monopolizing eight-tenths of the world's sword fortune, willingly bound himself to the Ji Shi Pavilion for the sake of all living beings.

Thirty years later, he stepped out of that pavilion and entered the legendary realm of the Earthly Immortals.

At the time, everyone said he would bring the sword path to ruin.

“Fine. Then, as you wish, I, Chen Zui, will carve out a new sword path!”

On that day, hundreds of thousands of martial artists gathered in Dongji City.

Chen Zui hovered above them all and destroyed his life-bound sword.

“You all say I, Chen Zui, monopolize eight-tenths of the world's sword fortune. Today, I'll give back those four-tenths!

Don't call me stingy. My life-bound sword and I are one and the same, and it can only bear this much.

If you still think that's not enough, then come take my life and seize the sword fortune by your own strength!”

As he spoke, he turned to the martial artists who weren't sword cultivators.

“And don't accuse me of playing favorites. From now on, the world's sword path will stand on its own, separate from the martial path. Sword cultivators everywhere will have a smoother road to cultivation.”

“...”

“That's right. From now on, the world's sword path will stand on its own, split off from the all-encompassing martial path to forge a new way.

Doesn't that mean Chen Zui can stand alongside the Buddha and the Daoist Patriarch, revered by the people, and even be hailed as the Sword Ancestor or Sword Patriarch?”

Someone sighed in admiration.
