The Fox Demon Takes on China

A delirious story I came up with while eating at Golden Arches. In this future world, animals can take exams to enroll in school and graduate as spirits. Amid the craze for becoming spirits, a red fox named Lanlan Fox, raised in a circus from a young age and later roaming the world with its owner, studies hard to break free and make it on its own. After passing the exams, it embarks on the path to becoming a spirit and graduates successfully. But Lanlan Fox isn't satisfied with that. It yearns to become an immortal, then discovers that it can live a carefree, happy life even without becoming one. Leaving the prescribed path behind, it sets off to explore freely and find a joy fit for the immortals.
