At first, everyone thought it was just an ordinary epidemic. No one expected the zombie virus to spread at such a staggering speed. This was a global apocalyptic crisis. Ninety-five percent of the world's population turned into zombies in the disaster. At first, humanity could put up a desperate fight thanks to its advantage in weapons, but the zombies kept mutating and growing stronger!!! The entire human race had been pushed to the brink of extinction!!! Faced with the apocalypse, nations set aside their differences and united to resist the zombie hordes!! Five of the world's strongest anti-zombie bases were quickly established: the Huaxia Base, the American Base, the Grey Bear Base, the Wigland Base, and the French Base. Together, they became known as the Earth Federation Resistance Forces!
Faced with the sudden outbreak of the zombie virus, Huaxia quickly realized that the spread was uncontrollable. It abandoned its small cities and gathered all its troops and elite personnel, then rapidly established five bases centered around Longcheng to fight the zombies: the Longcheng Main Base, Eastern Military Defense Base One, Western Military Defense Base Two, Southern Military Defense Base Three, and Northern Military Defense Base Four.
The small city where the protagonist, Ye Minghao, lived was one of those abandoned. He set out with his wife, children, and friends, meeting new companions along the way. He had to face not only zombie attacks but also betrayal by his comrades. Fighting his way through every obstacle, he grew from a nobody into the commander of the Southern Base, then the governor of Longcheng, then the supreme commander of the Huaxia Empire, and finally the top commander of the Earth Federation. What will become of humanity in the end…
