Reviving the Han Dynasty for Four Hundred Years

Across the vast land of China, the rise and fall of the Han dynasty over four hundred years may fill later generations with sorrow and lament. Yet the changing of dynasties is simply the natural cycle of Heaven's way. But the depopulation caused by the slaughter of the Three Kingdoms, followed by the devastation of the people under the Western Jin, left the land drained of both people and wealth. This paved the way for the Five Barbarians' upheaval, bringing three hundred years of suffering to our people. At its root was the Han dynasty's loss of its mandate, which sparked power struggles among ambitious men seeking their own interests, all willing to sacrifice the common people for personal gain. By chance, I transmigrated into the body of Shi Hou Bian. I devised a plan to distance myself from the palace, rally the people beyond the frontier, and return to the Central Plains with power behind me. I earned great merit, yet was granted only a modest imperial title. In the end, I renewed the Han dynasty's fortunes for another four hundred years.
