College Student: Who Gets It? I Opened My Eyes and the Apocalypse Was Here

[No romance] [Zombie from the start] [Base-building] [Not invincible] [Best read without overthinking] [Not a brainless little zombie]

A college student wakes up from a feverish nap to find the apocalypse has begun. “Guys, who can relate... I’ll never have to worry about exams again! ⊹꙳ ˶˙ᵕ˙˶ ⊹꙳”

Shi Ruan'an is a college student who falls asleep at university and wakes up as a zombie, painlessly. She is tired of the world, yet still longs to love it. Young people grow disheartened by their abilities, but still love life because they are young. Starting out as a zombie, what can a college student finally free to be herself do?

[I’m writing the post-apocalyptic story I want to read. The heroine isn’t overpowered, there’s no romance, and she’s not a silly little zombie. I’ll do my best to create a cast of distinctive characters, each with their own personality.]
