Prince of Tennis Figure Skating: My Childhood Friend Is Ryoma Echizen

“Echizen, is she your sister?” the upperclassmen from the Seigaku tennis club asked curiously.

“Of course not.” The little prince haughtily adjusted the brim of his cap, looking rather awkward.

“I skipped a grade.” The tall, long-legged girl rested her full weight on Ryoma’s back and smiled brightly. “Though I don’t mind if Ryoma wants to call me big sister.”

“Tch, you’ve got a long way to go.”

“From the moment she first stepped onto the ice, I knew this child had a talent that would amaze everyone.” That was Coach Tosoieva, who discovered the girl Rina’s talent, speaking to the media.

“She may be an idiot in some ways, but no one would question her skill on the ice.” That was the reply when someone asked Echizen Ryoma, himself a top athlete, about her.

“I’m going to win, because I’m Oshidari Rina!” the tall girl declared with a laugh, lifting her elegant chin.

Some people are simply born to dominate a sport. We call them the chosen ones.

Oshidari Rina was born and raised in America. She was bold and easygoing, like a free-spirited breeze.
