A security guard is helping a woman who owns an apartment in his complex fix a water pipe when he accidentally falls from the thirteenth floor and dies. After transmigrating, he becomes the lowliest stablehand in a wealthy household, looked down on and bullied at every turn.
He plans to jump into a river and be reborn, but instead happens upon a child who has fallen into the water, so he has no choice but to be a good person. Little does he know that good deeds bring good fortune: romantic encounters, wealth, and power soon come his way. Watch as Ma Lou moves among a hundred beauties and looks on with a smile as the court's factions vie for power.
