The black bear was once Chi You’s mount. It hides in the forests of Ailao Mountain, ruling the roost and seeking to dominate the Three Realms. The Firefly Elder, once the god of fireflies, was forced to live in seclusion in those same forests. The Elder’s successor, Niu Liang, takes up the book The Twelve Zodiac Formula for Immortality and a kitchen cleaver that the Thunder Goddess left behind when she descended to the mortal world, and battles Chi You’s black bear mount... Fireflies are growing ever scarcer. This book will give you the answer.
