In the not-too-distant future, desertification spreads across the globe and the world's ecosystem collapses. Humanity is forced to launch a plant genetic modification project, hoping to halt the desert's expansion and restore barren land. Unfortunately, the project ultimately turns into an irreversible catastrophe. Ninety percent of the population is wiped out, and the survivors struggle to stay alive in a world overrun by mutated plants.
