The story takes place in a mysterious and uncanny version of Hell. The heroine was once a lawyer devoted to justice, but an accident plunged her into danger. After being murdered without mercy, her soul entered Hell. At first, she is terrified by her unfamiliar surroundings and tries step by step to find a way back to the world of the living. After learning how, Su Liyue sets off alone for the Hazbin Hotel, where she encounters the cold and ruthless demon Mo Yu. They begin by testing and using each other, and treating each other as enemies, but gradually she learns about his past.
With her intelligence, kindness, and uniquely modern way of thinking, the heroine begins a wondrous journey through Hell, trying to “win over a demon.” Su Liyue tries again and again to reach Mo Yu's heart, using different ways to move him and dispel the hostility within him, so that he no longer tears himself apart. After getting her life back on track, she works to unravel the mystery of what happened to her and discover the truth at its source...
The heroine not only saves herself, but also rescues Mo Yu, the male lead, who was sealed in Hell after being led astray by a moment's poor judgment. They trust and help each other, and save each other in turn.
The story invites readers to explore Hell's mysteries and feel the power of love and redemption in the most extreme circumstances.
