[They both fall for each other + the male lead fights hard to win her + intense push and pull + both leads sexually inexperienced + seven-year age gap]
[Cool, sweet girl and calculating, fatherly man]
Meng Jin and Sheng Jiahe once had an ambiguous relationship.
*
At an ordinary get-together, she met the Sheng Jiahe her older brother had told her about.
In Meng Jin’s eyes, he was her brother’s friend, her client, someone far beyond her reach, someone she was better off keeping her distance from.
But a young girl’s feelings are like a wildfire. One gentle gust of wind, and they can spread across the whole plain.
Meng Jin tried everything she could, but she still couldn’t win Sheng Jiahe over.
She wanted a clear answer, but he couldn’t give her one. So she walked away without looking back.
*
For four years, she tread carefully and avoided him at every turn.
Four years later, they met again and clashed at an interview.
After that came countless coincidences. Meng Jin couldn’t avoid him, and though she didn’t want to get entangled with him again, he kept closing in.
Watching Meng Jin step into the trap he’d laid long ago, the man who was sure of victory finally revealed his cunning, foxlike nature.
But Meng Jin was no longer the woman she’d been back then, and she rejected him again and again.
After the new snow cleared beneath the full moon, he said, “In my barren land, you are the last rose.”

Very nice, recommended
It's good-looking, but how did the male protagonist's brother die, and what happened to the male protagonist's mother and that girl???
It's so good to watch, the plot is compact and the characters are well drawn.
This is not a prince, he is a powerful male protagonist who is not loved.
