I Gave Everything for This Woman

Su Li is a girl who has suffered terribly. First her mother died, then she was raped by a homeless man. She began shutting herself away in a cramped room, refusing all contact with the outside world. Every night, those horrifying memories clawed at her heart like a demon's talons, tearing at it again and again. Her father tried to comfort her, but whenever Su Li saw the worry and pain in his eyes, she sank further into guilt and despair. During this time, her father also died in a workplace accident. Su Li felt that her world had completely collapsed. Darkness surged around her like a raging tide, closing in until she could hardly breathe. Her eyes were vacant and lifeless, as if her soul had left her battered body. After taking time to recover, she finally made up her mind to leave the city where she had been born and raised. She tearfully broke up with her boyfriend and went abroad to pursue further studies. Five years later, she returned in triumph and ran into her boyfriend from five years ago, only to discover that he was still waiting for her.
