The Last Fireworks of a Summer Night

[Two Top Students + Healing + Redemption + BE]

At seventeen, Zhou Qi had never wondered what it felt like to fall for someone.

In his senior year of high school, his family’s tenant was a girl in his class. He thought she was a little quiet, a little stubborn, and a little hard to get along with. She was nowhere near the kind of girl he could like.

But on New Year’s Eve, he chased her all the way into the city, just to light a sky full of fireworks for her with his own hands.

Seventeen-year-old Zhou Qi taught Rong Qingqing how to accept love and give it back.

Rong Qingqing wanted to run toward Zhou Qi, no matter the cost.

(I often wonder, how wonderful it would have been if we’d met sooner.)
