Yixiu Reborn: A Battle of Wits

This is not a wish-fulfillment story!

As Zhen Huan takes the highest seat of power, Yixiu in Jingren Palace can only end her life in misery by hanging herself. In her previous life, Yixiu spent her days in her elder sister's shadow, only to fall at the hands of her sister's replacement. Not a single person by her side remained: An Lingrong, Gualjia Wenyuan, Jianqiu, Jiang Fuhai. As scenes of those she had known flashed before her eyes, Yixiu finally understood before dying just how terribly wrong she had been. She thought she could control people's hearts, but had instead been manipulated by them. To claim a high position and greater power, cunning and patience were both essential. She died full of resentment, unable to let go of her obsession, never imagining that she would be reborn and return to a time before Zhen Huan entered the palace. In this life, the empress's seat can only be hers, and the throne of Empress Dowager will never fall into someone else's hands! Zhen Huan, Hua Fei, Duan Fei, and Jing Fei will be nothing but stepping stones!

P.S. This is my first time writing a story, so please forgive any out-of-character moments.
