Story Introduction:

Yun Yi ascends to the Immortal Realm, only to discover that he has to mine for a thousand years. He eventually gets in touch with the Heavenly Dao, and with its help, returns to the cultivation world. But he has to start cultivating all over again and help the Heavenly Dao resolve an internal crisis.

The internal threat the Heavenly Dao mentioned is an outsider who will cause endless wars in the cultivation world. This outsider came from another small world and took over the body of Lin Anran, the Lin family's second daughter.

With the help of an object within her, the outsider makes geniuses and powerful figures across the land fall in love with her. Her admirers are willing to throw away their own lives for her, and take other people's lives along with them.

The outsider can steal other people's fortune, and most of the good things she gets early on are thanks to Si Mobai, the Son of Fortune. So the Heavenly Dao sends Yun Yi to Wenxin Sect, where Si Mobai is.
