At the start of the new school year, the sunny and handsome Jiang Ziran steps onto campus and meets Gu Chenyi, a famously aloof and distant sophomore. He falls for the cold senior at first sight and begins pursuing him with a quiet but fervent determination. Gu Chenyi is cold toward him at first, but before long, Jiang Ziran's smile and warmth gradually melt his defenses.
As their hearts slowly draw closer, rumors, misunderstandings, and barriers between them pile up. Haunted by past pain, Gu Chenyi chooses to run away, but Jiang Ziran stays by his side, never giving up and patiently waiting for him.
Through the trials of youth, they heal each other and grow together, finally embracing as they step into the future.
