How Can a Coward Save the World?

[No CP, transmigrating into a comic, System, forum, a touch of ensemble cast, esper academy, immature writing, lighthearted tone.]

After Lin Huan'an transmigrates, the System tells him he has to save the comic.

Haha, that sounds exhausting. Why would I do that?

But the main characters are such a troublesome bunch! I'm just an innocent person who wants to bounce around on the sidelines. But after I joined their group and got to know them...

Qi Muli sees Lin Huan'an in danger and rushes to his side without hesitation. Lin Huan'an blinks, confused. "Why?"

Qi Muli gives him a steadfast smile. "I want to protect you, and everyone else worth protecting."

Lin Huan'an lowers his eyes, unable to name what he's feeling. In that moment, he admits that he really does want to save the world alongside the protagonist.

Later, high above the ground on a rooftop, Lin Huan'an looks at the person before him, who is just like before and yet different. He blinks, almost forgetting: you're the protagonist...

"What about this time?"

Qi Muli gives him a steadfast smile. "I told you, I'm definitely going to kill you."

Watching his Host pull off one godlike move after another, 211 grows more and more convinced in him. But eventually things start to seem more and more wrong. Host, what are you doing? Isn't this...?

Lin Huan'an slaps him. "Don't interrupt. I've got plenty of ways to handle this..."
