Li Liang transmigrated as Murong Fu after he had gone mad. His reputation was in tatters, and everyone had turned against him. This start was a bit of a disaster!
Watching the busy A Bi, Li Liang fell into thought again. How had this girl ended up with a Murong Fu?
Crossing the Hengduan Mountains as if walking on level ground? Passing border guards as if they weren't there?
Could he trust the only person by his side?
How could he escape from the perilous land of Dali?
Once he finally managed to escape, he was stumped about where to go next.
Li Liang decided to take a different path!
Why would a promising young man join the underworld? What could he accomplish among a bunch of unruly martial-world drifters? He should become an official!
But it was hard to get anywhere in office without powerful backing. Then he would create his own backing!
Could combining martial arts and officialdom work?
It was the first year of the Shaosheng era. As Zhang Dun returned to office, Li Liang decided to save the man who would govern for many years to come, and earn himself a life-debt!
Was the man in no danger?
He could make some!
After saving Zhang Dun, he introduced himself: “My name is Li Liang. Liang, as in ‘kindhearted’!”
From then on, he rose through the ranks, promoted the New Policies, pacified Western Xia, and earned one meritorious achievement after another. Everything went smoothly.
Until Emperor Zhezong died and Zhang Dun declared, “Prince Duan is frivolous. He cannot rule the realm!”
Li Liang went to find Zhao Ji and said earnestly, “My name is Li Liang. Liang, as in ‘a good bird chooses a tree to nest in’!”
He was valued once more, and became Zhao Ji’s right-hand man, pacifying Liangshan and crushing Fang La!
When the Jin invaded, Li Liang walked into Wende Hall with his sword in hand. Looking at Zhao Ji, who was preparing to abdicate, he bowed and said, “For the dignity of the Great Song, I beg Your Majesty to die!”
He shook the blood from his sword and said, “My name is Li Liang. Liang, as in ‘devoid of conscience’!”
He had thought the world would curse him, but a great Confucian scholar declared, “I have not seen Li Liang murder a sovereign. I have only heard that he executed a man.”
The novel subject matter, novel viewpoints, and novel writing techniques are worth a look.
The protagonist of the previous book, the green-haired turtle, can endure what ordinary people cannot. I wonder if the author will continue this style in this book. If so, I'll give it two more stars.
I haven't read many martial arts novels, but this one feels like the best martial arts novel I've ever read. A martial arts novel actually has a plot of wits, and the writing is actually pretty good. Abi's self-guided strategy is also very interesting.
Give it a five-star review first and then read it. By the way, where did the official post go? Why did it open again? Are your grades bad in the yamen?
Zz, promise me, you must finish writing, and don't want to be a eunuch 🙂 If you don't say anything, you've promised me
The writing is quite good, why don't you continue to update it? Is it because the results are not very good and there is no traffic?
The chase is over. When will the fairy sister catch up?
This is the author's second book. This one is more detailed and more enjoyable than the previous one.
This is what I want. Gao Yanei's film is not good, but this one is, and Wang Gang's film is awesome.
Isn't it enough to update it every day?
