A Mage's Legacy

Synopsis “Welcome! I can smell the sea breeze. Would you like to stay the night?” “Ah, the room is… a room for two. How many nights will you stay?” “Why have you decided already?… Two nights? We’ll gather information tomorrow and the day after…” “Eh!? We’re leaving town the day after tomorrow? Don’t you want to eat or browse the market?” “Ah, no. Then let’s gather information for one more day. Rick and I will do it tomorrow and the day after, while Asuka and Root…” “Oh, come on. Let’s all go together, Janet. Rick can take care of gathering information.” “Hey, that’s not true.” “Sorry. Asuka only cares about her own goals…” “Hahahaha, you think so too.” “Looks like we’ll be working together for a while, so I want to do this now.” “All right. Since we’ve agreed, let’s stay four nights!” “Very well. One room costs two silver coins per night, with breakfast and dinner included. Sir, use this key; miss, use this one.” “Oh! Also, can you bathe and feed our servants?” “We have a large bath that can accommodate two, but it costs extra. As for the servants’ meals… are they big?” “Um, this one and this one.” “One’s a bird, and the other’s feline. Can the bird eat vegetables?” “Yes.” “Then I’ll arrange that. What about the cat?” “Meow~~” “Can it have fish and meat every day?” “That might be possible, but it’ll cost extra each day.”
