Legend of the Adepts

This is the story of several sixteen- and seventeen-year-old orphans living in an era when war could break out at any moment. From meeting one another to becoming spellcasters and beyond, they are pushed step by step from carefree daily life toward a “destiny” swept along by the tides of the world. Set against the backdrop of war, it is a tale of conflict, humor, and Big Thunder Pig.

Worldbuilding: A world with “mana,” where people can use “spells” made from mana. Graduates of spell schools become spellcasters. That’s all I’ll reveal.

Spellcasters are said to reward everyone who studies hard.

The protagonist is quite a character. Anyway, she’s incredibly strong and can easily do things we can’t.

The plot is fairly easy to follow (probably).
