After I Deleted All the Code, the Genius Girl Fell Apart

In my previous life, I was despised by everyone because of a plagiarism scandal.

For ten years, every line of code I wrote could be found on the “genius junior’s” Weibo. Even the tiny mistakes I fixed would show up in her posts, too.

A tidal wave of online abuse and doxxing came crashing down on me, along with the contempt of the academic community.

In the end, my mother and I were both driven to our deaths. Even after we died, I still couldn’t prove my innocence.

Until my dying breath, I couldn’t understand why the robot I had spent ten years developing would recognize my junior, who couldn’t even write code, as its master.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back one month before my junior became famous.

This time, I deleted every line of code I’d written over the years. Let whoever wants it be the genius.

All I did was sit on my phone, recruiting people on Pinduoduo to help me slash the price by one yuan.

But my genius junior and her doctoral-supervisor father panicked. They demanded to know why I’d given up just before success.

I only smiled without answering, then quietly took out my phone and shared my Pinduoduo link with them.
