Beside the West Lake, a thousand-year-old green lotus spirit transformed into a beautiful woman named Qing Ling. She was once a spirit imprisoned in heaven, just for a love that spanned a thousand years. The person she is waiting for is the scholar in her previous life—a mortal who goes by the pseudonym Mo Chen in this life. They reunited by the West Lake and their love was rekindled, but this relationship was regarded by the heaven as a challenge to heaven's rules.

Small Theater 1: The Coming of the God of Thunder
The god of thunder descended on the West Lake, and the rolling thunder clouds covered the sky and the sun. The God of Thunder looked coldly at Qing Ling and Mo Chen in front of him, and said in a loud voice: "Humans and monsters cannot combine. Those who violate the rules of heaven will die!"
Qing Ling stood in front of Mo Chen, the Tianyuan Stone in her hand emitted a faint light, blocking the first thunderbolt of the God of Thunder. Mo Chen held her hand tightly and said firmly: "No matter what fate is, I only choose you."
The lightning flashed again, but at that moment, Qing Ling transformed into a green lotus to protect Mo Chen. The scene was beautiful and sad, as if even the God of Thunder had stopped his offensive.
Small Theater 2: The Bloom of Green Lotus
Surrounded by the heavenly soldiers, Qing Ling used her last strength to transform into a huge green lotus, protecting Mo Chen and all the villagers who supported them in the lotus leaves.
Mo Chen looked at Qing Ling who was gradually losing power in front of him, tears welling up in his eyes. He shouted with all his strength: "If there is a spirit in heaven and earth, please let her stay! She just wants to stay with her beloved!"
The green lotus bloomed with dazzling light, the Tianyuan Stone resonated with it, and all the surrounding heavenly soldiers retreated in this light. The dark clouds over the West Lake gradually dispersed, and a glimmer of light shone on the green lotus, as if it was a touch of warmth from heaven.
