City of the Alien Star

In 2158, as humanity fully enters the era of interstellar exploration, adventure enthusiast Zhao Yiran signs up to join Lingji Corporation's cosmic search team. He travels with the crew to the planet Navarra on a mineral survey mission. A malfunction during landing leaves them stranded on the planet.

Ninety days pass. There is no hope of rescue, and supplies are running low. Zhao Yiran leaves the camp with the rest of the team. Silence surrounds them, and only the thick fog rolls in like a tide, swallowing everything. There is almost no sign of life on the planet's surface, yet he can't ignore the eerie atmosphere. He has wondered whether some unknown force is hidden in the fog, or perhaps some form of life.

At first, the life forms beneath the fog only watch them. Then they draw closer and closer, as if trying to make contact. Zhao Yiran's heart races. He doesn't know whether this is a chance to survive or a threat that cannot be ignored.

There is no time to wait. The exploration team is nearly spent, and their only choice is to move forward. Should they flee, or try to coexist with these unknown life forms? In the fog, he can almost feel death breathing down his neck. Every decision could change their fate.
