A Startling Flight Beneath the Moon

In the thirty-sixth year of the Yuanhe era of the Dayue Kingdom, after the new emperor ascended the throne, the national treasury was robbed, students went missing, wild beasts began killing people, and a silver mine vanished without a trace. One baffling case after another left the people in a state of panic.

Gu Jing became entangled in the affairs while trying to clear her elder brother’s name. With no other choice, she joined the Jinghong Pavilion to investigate strange cases and expose treachery alongside five others.

The clever and resourceful Gu Jing, the composed and levelheaded Chu Luochi, the erudite Shen Qingbai, the master physician Weisheng Xue, the socially adept Lu Shaochuan, and the peerless martial artist Yan Qi support one another and grow together along the way.

All to uphold their original convictions: advance justice and uphold the law, punish the guilty, and leave no injustice unredressed!
