The Heart of a Pear Blossom in Splendid Bloom

An accident left the orphan A Wan waking up in the body of Chu Li, the legitimate daughter of the Minister of Revenue. An imperial decree forced her to marry Gu Jinchong, the ailing heir of the Duke's mansion, to bring him good fortune. On one side was her beautiful master, who had been with her for decades. On the other was a handsome husband she'd gotten for free. After much deliberation, A Wan decided her beautiful master had the edge, and set off on a long quest to find her and get a divorce. But the two young people, brought together by a conspiracy, had already been dragged into one whirlpool after another by an unseen hand. Caught up in the struggle for imperial power with no way out, they decided to join forces for now and agreed on a pact: the day the storm settled would be the day they parted ways.
