In a remote place far away from the royal capital, there is a small town surrounded by vast forests - Haos Town. The town is named after the almost endless Haus Forest on its outskirts. The land in Haos Town is not fertile. Year-round rains result in scarce sunshine. Food production is always unable to meet the needs of the townspeople. Most of the food needs to be purchased from other places. However, Haos Town is rich in wood resources, because the trees in Haos Forest grow quickly and have excellent texture.
Although the forest seems to be an endless treasure, it is actually full of unknowns and dangers. The kingdom has sent investigation teams into the forest many times in an attempt to explore its deep secrets, but without exception they have all failed. There are even rumors that the investigation team has encountered strange and unexplainable events. Eventually, the lords reluctantly gave up their plans to expand their farmland and instead relied on the timber trade to maintain the town's prosperity.
