A Young Swordsman, Sword Drawn

[No System] [Swordsmanship] [Traditional Fantasy] [Ruthless]

In this vast world, immortals and mortals coexist.

The gods and immortals dwell high above the heavens, watching the tides rise and fall and the years pass. With a single thought, they can turn oceans into mulberry fields.

Cultivators soar through the skies and burrow beneath the earth, seemingly capable of anything. They tread upon a million skeletons, defy the laws of heaven and earth, and prove their Dao through sheer power to become immortals.

Only mortals are frail and helpless. They live no more than a hundred years, struggling in the mortal world. Life is but a dream, with only a few brief autumns to one's name, and neither life nor death is in one's own hands.

A young man and his mother depend on each other. His mother asks for nothing more than his safety, not that he become a great man. But then his wicked uncle comes to their door, intent on taking their lives and wealth.

On a snowy day, Ying Qi awakened.

He understood how fragile mortals were, and how little power they had over their short lives. He didn't want to go on living this way. No matter how treacherous the road ahead, no matter how many bones it took to achieve victory, he would have no regrets, even in death!

That day, the young man gripped his sword, as if he had seized his own fate!

He killed his wicked uncle, joined an immortal sect, and opened the Sword Ruins.

With no one to help me reach for the clouds, I'll trudge through the snow and climb to the summit myself!

He came from the mortal world, and rose from humble beginnings!

Anyone who stands in my way will die!
