I Helped an Old Man Up, and He Tried to Scam Me. I'll Break His Legs for You

Synopsis: "If you weren't the one who hit me, why did you help me up?" A sixy-something-year-old scoundrel grabbed a young man and shouted at him to pay up.

The onlookers all said, "The young man was just being kind and helping you up, and you actually extort him? Have you no conscience?" Just then, a young man stepped out of the crowd and stomped hard on the old scoundrel's leg. There was a sharp crack, and the leg broke. The man howled in pain like a slaughtered pig.

The crowd applauded. This young man was our story's protagonist, Bao Qiankun. Bao Qiankun was the 45th-generation descendant of Bao Qingtian, and the blood of Bao Qingtian ran hot in his veins.

A month earlier, Bao Qiankun's father had been making a delivery by car when he swerved sharply to avoid an old scoundrel who was deliberately faking an accident to extort him. His father crashed and died. The scoundrel who had faked the accident, however, remained at large and continued his misdeeds.

Before his father died, he handed Bao Qiankun an ancient family jade pendant. After putting it on, Bao Qiankun had a dream in which he met his ancestor, Lord Bao, and gained a System and a golden finger.

From then on, Bao Qiankun resolved to avenge his father, carry on his ancestor Bao Qingtian's legacy, root out injustice in the world, and restore peace and justice to all...
