Hong Kong Films: A Family Rises from the Ashes

Lu Jianyuan transmigrates to Hong Kong, where he and the brothers and sisters he grew up with support one another as a family representing wealth gradually steps into the spotlight.

He takes on banks in billion-dollar fund short-selling bets, takes control of a television station, becomes the financial backer of major institutions, and invests more than anyone else in emerging technology.

A family of wealth spanning generations and both sides of the strait.

“Since the late 1980s, Tianhuan Group has invested internationally while also contributing to development on both sides of the strait. The group is also deeply committed to investing in construction projects across the country. Mr. Lu, what has always been the guiding purpose for you and your group?”

“To give back to society and help develop our hometown so we can all make progress together. And, well, we have too much money.”
