Three or four hundred years after nuclear war broke out, the nations and regions of the world had fallen under the rule of mutant legions. Made up of mutants, these legions ruled through brutal terror and violence, slaughtering civilians at will.
Under their oppression, cities became ruins and the land lay barren. People lived in fear and despair, forced to submit and pay tribute, endure hunger and disease, and suffer raids and kidnappings by patrols.
Yet there were forces of resistance in this wasteland. A band of brave survivors from all walks of life formed an underground resistance, plotting attacks and using surviving technology to build weapons in their fight against the mutants. Though danger surrounded them, they never gave up, convinced that a brighter future was possible. In this world, the light of humanity and the forces of darkness intertwined, as people sought hope and redemption amid despair and suffering.
