Unfathomable Tales of the Strange and Mysterious

(Supernatural with mild horror, no heroine, no cheat powers, and best enjoyed as an audiobook.) Hanwen is a type of spirit medium from southern Fujian, with a ritual hall of his own. The people and events mentioned in the story all involve visitors who come to see Hanwen in person to describe or ask about supernatural incidents they have experienced. To these people sharing their stories, the inexplicable events have left them deeply unsettled. But in Hanwen’s eyes, they are simply points of contact between people from different worlds. They are a way of reminding those in this world to follow the tacitly agreed rules governing their interactions with another world. There aren’t that many coincidences in the world. If one happens, look within yourself for the reason. Human nature can be more wicked than ghosts and monsters. Ghosts and monsters only need to be treated with respect, but showing respect to people does not always help.
