After the Battle of Feishui in 383 AD, the former Qin collapsed and the north fell into division again. A large number of northern refugees and nobles crossed the Yangtze River south to seek asylum in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. In 385 AD, Murong Yun led the last of his tribe to flee south to the north bank of the Yangtze River, intending to defect to the Eastern Jin Dynasty. At the ferry, he met Xie Wen who was sent to inspect the refugees. A crisis caused by the pursuit of soldiers forced the two people, who were originally the "inspector" and the "inspected", to join forces to fight against the enemy, and rescued Lu Waner, who was accidentally involved. This is a story intertwined by Lu Waner, Murong Yun, and Xie Wen, hoping to bring readers a different reading experience.
