This work narrates the legendary story of a revolutionary hero known as "Scud" in the late Qing Dynasty. He had noble moral character, strong martial arts, ran like flying, and held a broadsword. He was famous in the world. He eliminated violence, helped the weak, went deep into the tiger's den, explored the enemy's situation, and passed on intelligence. He participated in the democratic revolutionary struggle, punished corrupt officials, and attacked bandits and bullies, and contributed to overthrowing the corrupt feudal rule of the Qing Dynasty and striving for national liberation.
