In ancient times, the extraterrestrial demons tore open the sky screen over the Azure Sky Continent and launched a full-scale invasion. The Human Emperor and the Soldier Lord put aside their grievances and joined forces with the other races to fight back, beginning a war that would last thousands of years. After the war, the extraterrestrial demons were driven from the Azure Sky Continent. While the Human Emperor was gravely wounded, the Soldier Lord launched an attack against him. The Human Emperor wielded the Xuanyuan Sacred Sword and fought the Soldier Lord to the death, ultimately defeating him and unifying the entire Azure Sky Continent. Not long afterward, however, the Human Emperor disappeared.
Tens of thousands of years later, a down-and-out young man stumbled upon the Human Emperor’s legacy and began a legendary life of his own. He found close friends, vanquished powerful enemies, and ascended to the throne of the Human Emperor.
