As the mid-twenty-first century approaches, human civilization finally shines brightly amid a new wave of technological breakthroughs. None of this would have been possible without the efforts of researchers, including the parents of Fu Wenyan, who disappeared during an experiment eight years ago…

Eight years later, Fu Wenyan joins the national extraterrestrial exploration team, while Fu Nantian, a student of the Fu couple, makes his mark in the field of space exploration technology. Then, in the aftermath of a chaotic incident, a distress signal suddenly arrives from a planet that has appeared on the outskirts of the solar system.

A new planet, a strange and declining civilization that somehow feels familiar, all kinds of peculiar life forms, and a survivor base suspended upside down in the sky… These extraordinary encounters seem to point to a hidden law governing the evolution of civilizations throughout the universe…
