On the distant shores of Kamona, chaos and danger had already taken hold. But fate had no intention of sparing the land. One enormous, unexplained tsunami after another rolled in, roaring toward the shore like a ferocious beast.
Known as the Dark Zone, this mysterious region was a lawless, ungoverned land of chaos. Like a vast whirlpool, it drew in people and factions of every kind from all directions. They became entangled with one another, together forming a tangled web full of danger and opportunity.
Factions were scattered across the Dark Zone like stars. The most notable were the White Wolf Company, Blackgold International, and the newly risen Syndicate, which had quickly come into prominence. With their formidable armed forces and abundant resources, each seized a large swath of the Dark Zone, forming a three-way stalemate.
The White Wolf Company was renowned for its fearless fighting style. Every member was battle-hardened and unafraid of death.
Blackgold International relied on its immense wealth to keep expanding its sphere of influence, while also controlling numerous vital economic lifelines.
As for the Syndicate, its relationship with a certain mysterious faction was impossible to make sense of.
The repeated armed raids by CTRG, a newcomer to the Dark Zone, were bound to bring upheaval to a place that seemed peaceful on the surface but was turbulent beneath.
And all of it would ultimately lead to...
