The sky turned bloodred, and a sudden barrier trapped Chundong City, cutting it off as a lonely city forgotten by the world. The signal was gone, and there was no way to call for help. Worse still, a terrifying infection had broken out within the city.
It wasn’t an ordinary zombie virus.
It ate away at flesh and fused bones together, creating one unimaginable mutant monster after another.
Mo Zichen was just an ordinary college student. He joined forces with a few strangers to survive. All they wanted was to stay alive, but as they explored the city, they uncovered the hidden truth behind the infection, and a weapon that seemed almost “alive.”
That was when they realized the source of the disaster might still be at work, and perhaps they were the only ones who could end this nightmare.
They weren’t heroes, nor were they saviors.
But if no one else could stop this...
They were willing to walk through the door that led into the abyss.
This is the author’s first novel, and I’m still working hard to improve my writing. I have quite a few real-life commitments, so updates may not come quickly, but I put my heart into polishing every chapter and will do my best to update consistently. If things go well, I’ll try to post extra chapters too.
