Some vow to protect the common people: when evil descends, I shall stand before all living beings. I will not retreat until my blood runs dry.
Some consider themselves divine, seeking to rise above the masses.
Some wish only to look after themselves. A fire-breather can perform or barbecue; someone who can make clones can raise an army or deliver takeout.
And I, with nothing but an iron staff, shall save the world with compassion. Alone, I will sweep away demons and evil spirits, and restore peace and justice to all under heaven.
