Interstellar: The Sweet, Gentle Guide Only Wants Fluffy Things

[Interstellar beastfolk + no romance + shameless pet obsession]

Cun Yueyue is a senior veterinarian at a pet hospital in Shanghai. Her one lifelong wish is to cuddle every fluffy animal in the world.

After treating an injured Samoyed, she misses a step and tumbles down a flight of stairs. When she wakes up, she has been reborn in the interstellar era, having been born into a new body.

People in this era have beastfolk genes. Male Sentinels can transform into beasts and serve in the military, but exposure to interstellar radiation can make them violent, throw their minds into chaos, and strip away their reason.

Female Guides can soothe and treat them, but they are physically frail and have difficulty bearing children. As a result, many Sentinels go untreated, struggling until they become irrational beasts.

Fortunately, Cun Yueyue is identified at birth as a little Guide with 3S potential. Although the Empire provides her with a privileged life and great respect once she becomes a Guide, she is also required to perform mental guidance for male Sentinels every day. With no time left to cuddle fluffy animals, Cun Yueyue feels terribly stifled.

"Wow! Mommy, it's a fluffy animal! I want to pet it! I want a hug!"

"Be a good girl, Yueyue. Mommy will let you hug it once she's finished with her guidance work!"

"Huh? Guide Yueyue is amazing! She lowered the radiation level by thirty. No wonder she's a high-level Guide!"

"Mommy, Yueyue wants to hug fluffy animals again next time. They're so soft."

"Sure!"
