I recently flipped through Zuo Zhuan Gongyang Shiji for my homework on the history of ancient Chinese thought. When I came back to read this novel, I suddenly realized what it was like that I had been familiar with it for a long time but could not distinguish it. It was the writing style of ancient historical works.
Lots of dialogue, lots of narration, explaining the subject's inner thoughts, and the overall content is highly concise. This is history! (Appreciation)
