Lin Zile, the narrator, is in middle school. One day, after the bell rings to end a class, a sudden, intense pain shoots through his body. It comes out of nowhere, with no warning, and is almost unbearable. He rushes to the bathroom.
But when he comes out, he discovers an unbelievable change: he has turned into a girl. The unexpected transformation leaves him utterly shocked and confused.
Life goes on, though. Even after such a dramatic change to his body, Lin Zile still has to face middle school life alongside his roommates. At first, he feels anxious and afraid, unsure how to get along with his male roommates.
As time passes, however, his roommates show an unexpected level of understanding and acceptance. They don’t distance themselves from Lin Zile because of the change. Instead, they welcome this entirely new “her” with even greater warmth and kindness.
As they go about their daily lives, they share the joys and sorrows of middle school, play and fool around in the dorm, and face the challenges and struggles of their studies together.
Lin Zile gradually adjusts to his new identity and learns to treasure the deep bond he shares with his male roommates. Together, they make countless wonderful memories and spend a middle school life filled with laughter and warmth.
It feels like writing an essay. I was very similar to the word count of the exam essays back then. I read it for about half an hour and only talked about a little bit. I believe that I won't miss any details at a glance. The author could actually use less modifiers. I can feel the mood of the marking teacher.
Although this book is a bit old-fashioned compared to the previous ones, those who reviewed it also said that the title and content were changed. The author thinks it is pretty good.
