The Nine-Tailed Fox and the Black-Footed Cat
At a magical academy, Jiuchuan the nine-tailed fox is known for his gentle, refined manner. As the eldest son and heir to his clan, he carries an innate air of distinction and responsibility. Though two consorts chosen through a family alliance are at his side, he has never been intimate with either of them. His calculating, sly side stays hidden, and only the quirky, mischievous black-footed cat Jinnuo can bring out his unique tenderness.
Jinnuo is a ball of energy at the academy. Having roamed far and wide since childhood, she is more than capable of holding her own in a fight. She is fascinated by all the delicious food on campus and is always dashing from one food stall to another. Her younger brother Jincheng, an adorable and clingy Ragdoll cat, has been on guard against Jiuchuan ever since his sister met him. Whenever Jiuchuan gets close to Jinnuo, Jincheng pulls all sorts of little tricks to trip him up, as if protecting his sister’s personal territory.
Their story quietly unfolds at this academy full of youth and magic. Can Jiuchuan get past Jincheng’s defenses and forge a wonderful bond with Jinnuo? And how will Jincheng protect his sister, and what kind of “showdown” will he have with Jiuchuan? Their presence makes academy life all the more exciting and fun.
