This story takes Ying Zheng's life as the main line, showing him from being born in a difficult situation in Handan, Zhao State, to returning to Qin after many twists and turns, and gradually growing up in the court struggle and taking charge of the government. With his outstanding wisdom and courageous decision-making, Ying Zheng recruited talents, formulated strategies, and finally unified the six countries and became the First Emperor.
After he became emperor, he implemented a series of major measures, such as centralizing power, unifying weights, measures, and writing, as well as building the Great Wall and conquering Baiyue in the south. However, in the later period of the rule, the burning of books and heavy labor forced the people to be resentful. After he died of illness during the tour, the Qin Dynasty fell into chaos and eventually perished in the late Qin uprising.
The story not only presents the glorious achievements of Ying Zheng, but also explores his faults and their profound impact on later generations, allowing readers to fully understand the magnificent and controversial life of this eternal emperor.
