Liu Dong possessed a priceless treasure, but in this advanced cultivation world, all he wanted was to lie flat as a minor civil official in some worldly town.
But during a mission, Liu Dong accidentally got caught up in a counterfeit spirit stone case and was assigned by his superior to attend a training camp. When his team also did unexpectedly well on a camp mission, they were sent undercover into an enemy sect to investigate and uncover the truth behind the fake spirit stones.
Only after he and his team arrived at the enemy sect did they realize it wasn’t what they had imagined. It was home to cultivators from numerous races, including humans, demons, devils, ghosts, and spirits.
The presence of so many different races made Liu Dong suspect that there was something unusual about the sect. He and the other cultivators were soon assigned all kinds of investigative missions, and the rewards offered by the sect were astonishingly generous!
As Liu Dong and his friends steadily advanced in cultivation, they learned more and more, gradually uncovering the truth hidden behind it all!
In the end, they discovered the full truth behind the sect’s production of counterfeit spirit stones.
Faced with this cruel truth, Liu Dong now has to make an agonizing choice. What will he do?
