Synopsis

[Not a Primordial World story, not a conspiracy theory, set purely in the world of Journey to the West]

Gu Yan transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West and, from the start, meets Sun Wukong, who has just left Flower-Fruit Mountain to seek immortality.

He then obtains a choice-based System and greatly increases his magical power with its rewards.

The two later travel together to Mount Lingtai Fangcun.

By a stroke of fate, Gu Yan becomes a disciple of Taiyi Heavenly Lord of Great Mercy and learns peerless swordsmanship.

Several years later, Sun Wukong causes havoc in Heaven.

The Buddha Tathagata arrives from the West to capture him.

Gu Yan: "I have a sword that can slay every god and Buddha in the heavens!"
